First Step...
We have been working hard to make this a reality, and now the time has come to offer results.
We have designed a robotic prototype that will allow you to walk around in a virtual world, intuitivly and with natural motion. Call it a 360° walking simulator, a treadmill, a robotic support system… doesn’t matter, what you need to know is that it doesn’t need any special training or ability to be used. No special gear or outfit. Not any VR or gaming experience is needed.
Just you and your life-long ability to walk.
Trial-runs 2025
In the 2nd half of 2025 we will start to invite you to come and try out these ‘first steps’ as we will be gathering data to augment the performance and make sure our platform will be able to accept an as wide as possible audience in the future.
By design, we are targeting 90% of the population resulting in the following personal limits:
- Height: 150 – 190 cm
- Weight: 50 – 100kg (don’t worry, you don’t have to tell us, the system will just know)
- Velocity: 0 – 14 km/h
- Age: 18 – … rotations around the Sun.
